AUCCS is a team of Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Registered Interns who are based in Orange Park, Florida and serve the entire state of Florida and Georgia. Our Story

Acknowledge U Counseling & Consulting Services, LLC (AUCCS) was founded in the hearts of Co-founders, Charlene Smith & Takiyah Joseph, in 2021. AUCCS was birthed in 2022 with a shared desire to intentionally create an environment where our clients can experience true compassion, emotional safety, and healing.

Our Vision

Our vision is to consistently create a safe environment for our clients & partners to experience authentic self-awareness, personal insight, breakthrough and healing. We desire to serve the community as a hub for individuals, couples, families and organizations to have direct and easy access to a knowledgeable and experienced sounding board to better the overall health of our households and society at large. Fulterius shares a recent conversation with another therapist who was having difficulty connecting with one of her clients. Fulterius believes therapists should keep in mind the potential of countertransference. Countertransference is our emotional response to the client's attitudes, beliefs, or perspectives about their presenting issues. He shares a remarkable quote that helps him connect with his clients. A quote by Terence, a Roman Playwright, "I am a human being, nothing human can be alien to me." Fulterius explains how it's important and relevant for therapists because whoever sits across from them is not alien to them. Therapists can meet their clients where they are in their pain, fear, anxiety, and joy.
